Wyomissing linebacker Alex Anzalone informed Ohio State University’s Head Coach, Urban Meyer, that he will not attend the school. Due to a recent issue that a Buckeye fan that was granted access to players is an convicted sex-offender.
Anzalone, was the top Linebacker in Pennsylvania(Class of 2013), according to scout.com. And has received offers from over 25 division-one teams, such as, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford and most of the ACC conference.
The sex offender, a man from Kentucky, has been reaching out to Ohio State players/recruits alike, by social media.
Anzalone’s father, Sal, was quoted saying, “Something’s just not right at Ohio State, It’s not for him.”
Before he committed to Ohio State, Stanford and Florida seemed to be favored. The main concern for the Buckeyes now is will this become a trend?
