Week 3 predictions

There are many big games with great implacations this week. None seem bigger than Catholic League Showdown between power-houses AAAA school LaSalle vs AA school West Catholic. Last week both squads suffered loses. For LaSalle it was a 41-17 beat down by New Jersey’s Bergen Catholic. West Catholic lost to AAA juggernaut Archbishop Wood 28-0. LaSalle has an offense that can compete with the best of them. For West Catholic the offense is still trying to find their identiy. West Catholic has a linebacking core that could be one of the best in the state. But will that be enough to stop the Explorers passing attack. Look for 6’3 senior wide receiver Colin Buckley Who in two games has 12 catches for 215 yards. Expect LaSalle to move to 2-1 and beat the Burrs 31-14
