National Federation of State High School Associations

2008-2009 High School Athletics Participation Survey

This is the most requested information to High School Football Web, and the hardest to get! We had
asked every state association for their numbers last year. To this day, we've only had responses from
11 states. However, the National Federation of State High School Associations surveys their member
schools for the participation numbers for boys and girls in every sport and these are the latest results.
